

Croissants weren’t something I dreamed of making.
I tried them because I wanted to see if I could.
Turns out, they don’t make it easy.
What began as a challenge slowly became a routine.
Early mornings. Late nights. Failed batches. Small wins.
Most of it happened quietly, before anyone was watching.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped chasing
the perfect croissant.
I started enjoying the process instead.
People ask what Dough Butter Dough stands for.
I’m not going to hand you a mission statement.
This bakery is still becoming what it’s meant to be.
I find that out by doing the work, not by
writing about it.
I can make a good croissant. That part I know.
Everything else will come with time.
